That's what they said about Sims Online and EA, too. There's no guarantee that this game will be successful. In fact, by the time it comes out, it may be too late.
"too late" for what?
also, comparing WoW to the Sims is a bit of a stretch. Sims gamers tended to be a of the mainstrean/casual variety who probably never heard of a MMOG until SO was released. On the other hand, Warcraft and Blizzard fans, in general, tend towards the hardcore gamer with a rabid loyalty to both Blizzard and its IP's. I've never been a fan of WC but the trailers and screenshots have even me quite interested now so I can only imagine the effect its having on the true beleivers.
If there any guarantee in this industry as to which games make it and which don't, both SWG and WoW head the pack as the former category.
Just my opinion.
