Enter the Matrix Gold

Enter the Matrix Goes Gold is the press release announcing the game tie-in with the sci-fi Matrix trilogy is now complete for all platforms, and is expected to appear at retail on May15, simultaneous with the debut of The Matrix Reloaded. Here's a bit:
"Enter The Matrix" is a revolution in interactive entertainment -- a third-person action game that effectively blurs the line between Hollywood blockbuster films and next-generation video games. The game is directed and features a script written by the Wachowski brothers, writers/directors of "The Matrix" film trilogy, creating the most intensive collaboration between a video-game publisher and a movie studio to date. More information about "Enter the Matrix" is available at www.enterthematrixgame.com; in addition, to learn more about "The Matrix Reloaded" visit www.thematrix.com.

"Unfortunately, no one can be told what GCW is..."

Hehehehe, that's a very good one

I've been up and down about this game for awhile now. While on the one hand I love everything Matrix, and will do everything humanly possible to watch the very first showing (hopefully they'll do another midnight thing), the game has me in a "hmmmm" state of mind.

Production value wise this game cannot fail, but Shiny has simply NEVER made a game I like. I'm sure that everyone would love a game where you maul your way through thousands of Matrix stooges and agents with your super733T characters, but I'm worried that Shiny fucked it up somehow and it will be thousands of fights that actually aren't any kind of fun whatsoever.

I think I'll wait a few days and see what people say. Too many turds have come out this year already, after having been hyped up the wazzoo, and my dollar ownage is currently rather low.

So, once you filthy rich scum have a copy, be sure to let us know what you think of it
