Enter the Matrix Gold

Enter the Matrix Goes Gold is the press release announcing the game tie-in with the sci-fi Matrix trilogy is now complete for all platforms, and is expected to appear at retail on May15, simultaneous with the debut of The Matrix Reloaded. Here's a bit:
"Enter The Matrix" is a revolution in interactive entertainment -- a third-person action game that effectively blurs the line between Hollywood blockbuster films and next-generation video games. The game is directed and features a script written by the Wachowski brothers, writers/directors of "The Matrix" film trilogy, creating the most intensive collaboration between a video-game publisher and a movie studio to date. More information about "Enter the Matrix" is available at www.enterthematrixgame.com; in addition, to learn more about "The Matrix Reloaded" visit www.thematrix.com.

It's obvious this game is being rushed out the door to get it in stores in time for the movie.

Dunno. Could also be that the game was well planned to be finished together with the movies. If Raven was the developer I'd have no doubt that it is in good shape - those guys really know how to plan game development. Not sure with Shiny, though, but maybe they can pull it off as well.

This usually means several things: [...](2) poor and innaccurate documentation

Heh. I'm not sure when I last read a game manual. Usually the keyboard options screen is sufficient nowadays.

<nostalgia> I remember those 100+ page manuals you HAD to read in the good old times before you could even start playing a game (Falcon 3.0 anyone?). I guess that's progress for you </nostalgia>
