Heading Towards Enemy Territory

Activision sends a note with a bit on the status of Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, the Wolf follow-up that's no longer slated as a commercial product, but is still planned as a free multiplayer release as a stand-alone game (the original Return to Castle Wolfenstein will not be required). Here's the brief announcement:
We're currently doing a private beta of a Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory test. This test will have one map and we're planning on releasing it sometime in the next week. Stay tuned, we'll have more info for you as we get closer to wrapping up the private beta.
