Half-Life 2 Hints? [Apr 14, 2003, 4:46 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
A post on Shacknews
offers a couple of indications that the announcement of Half-Life 2 might be just
around the corner (thanks Dr. Del). They point the way to this
image from an ad in the UK's Edge Magazine with a hint about as subtle as a
crowbar, and a teaser pulled from PC Gamer Magazine that they figure is probably
for Half-Life 2 as well. As they point out, E3, a hotspot for hot game
announcements, is just around the corner...
Considering Team Fortress 2 never saw the light of day (i.e. at the retail) during it's development cycle. I'm quite sure Valve turned the efforts of that research into a scrap and cannibalization of the now "Half Life 2". not a bad transistion.
After all, I'm sure even Valve's dev team started to puke at the iterations rolling out with CS. Sort of like finding maturation option for trekkies... that shit gets really old, redundant. "he he he"
