Mistmare Gold

The Arxel Tribe News Page has word that Mistmare, Sinister Systems' RPG, has gone gold following an extended period of beta testing. Their general release schedule is as follows: UK/Benelux (UK version): April 18-25, France/Italy/Germany: May 20-30, USA/Canada: May-June, and Asia/rest of Europe: May. Here's the idea behind the game from their "about" page:
The year is 1996 and the world is different, there was no industrial revolution, there are no cars or mobile phones, there is only the feeble existence of people who have to fight the land, that decided it would fight back. The world is in turmoil and large parts of the continent are covered in thick mist with magical properties that forbids the passage through central Europe. Join Isador as he explores the world, searching for the man, deemed by the Church to be a murderer and an antichrist. The once great cities will pass you by: Rome, Avignon, Paris and others; on your quest to stop this man.

I don't care which one of you is real. Neither of you are posting anything worth my time as it is. I'm 2 posts away from labeling you an attention whore.

Anyhow, anyone notice this game totally is ripping of Ravenloft? Eh, guess small developers need to cling to the ideas of there betters to get a decent product out.

70% of the world has not made a phone call

I suppose using RogerWilco to communicate with my friend 7 states away while we simultainiously man a Hind helicopter in the Desert combat mod of Battlefield 1942 is out of the question?

Ok, IMO there was a big differnce when comparing the two decades. Its 2003 and there is more of tech leap than say 1986 to 1993. Its amazing when you think about the last 7 years tech-wise. Broadband, cell-phones, amazing graphics, CD & DVD burners, console equiped DVD players and so on. Makes ya think what might be next that you can't live with out.
