you would suddenly put a free mod on a subscriber only service, even if you were still in a "mod" group?

I'm downloading it, but haven't played this mod. Is it even better than normal BF1942 or is it just a nice change?

I never understood that attitude. Many of these guys do this not only for fun but to build up a portfolio to enter into the industry. Why is it selling out if they get paid for something they obviously worked their ass off to create?

It reminds me of some of the garage /underground bands from when I was growing up that as soon as they became popular or got a record deal they were suddenly no good sellout bastards.

I'd do the same thing. Keep your pride and keep eating Kraft mac & cheese forever...I'm going for the check buddy...
