First sign your game is going to fail: marketing can't come up with a better name for the main character than "Postal Dude".

There was a mod for Quake called QSoccer or QuakeSoccer or something that did that.
Like, 5 or 6 years ago.
I'll bet it was more fun too.

Hmmmm....this game is pretty sucky. IS this supposed to be the same engine as ut2k3? The ragdoll is the only thing thats reminds me of it. And where's the fun? Killing eveything? Sure, it's fun for the first hour, piss on people, set them on fire, cut the head off, kick the corpse around...
But it gets pretty old fast. It would have been great to have a multiplayer football game with a head though.

Actually, in California, it is illegal to have Male and Female as the only options for gender on any sort of application (like job applications, insurance applications, etc.), for reasons of discrimination. By law, you have to provide Male, Female, Other, and Not Given as options.
Scary.

It came up recently in a discussion about possible uses of the boolean datatype in logical database design :). I didn't feel that the boolean datatype was appropriate here.

It is male, female, neuter, partially transgendered, gender reassigned male to female, gender reassigned female to male, unknown etc. Wow Anvil! Did you have to look that up or were you able to write that off the top of your head?
----------------------------------------- Of course I could be wrong... but really, what are the chances of that happening twice? |

Ok so the comment you replied to was poorly worded, but those front pages need to be held since gender is not a binary construct. It is male, female, neuter, partially transgendered, gender reassigned male to female, gender reassigned female to male, unknown etc.

Didn't I basicaly say what the IGN guy said, only like i've been saying it for months? I felt obscenely justified reading that review, so much so that I no longer feel the need to burn about 50 copys of the game and give them away at wall-marts. IGN just did more damage than I ever could have, you've regained about 4% of my former respect IGN.

Interestingly, Postal Dude can't simply dash about from craphole of a poorly constructed environment to craphole of a poorly constructed environment running amok and slaughtering everyone. Daily chores must be completed for the game to progress.
Yep. I can see where Rainwolf gets the whole "freedom to do anything" aspect of the game. Oh... wait.... maybe not.
To sum it all up :
Buh-bye now, take care. Thanks for coming.

Wow, I am very disappointed after reading that review. I was looking forward to this game, but if the review is accurate, the end product is nowhere near what I had in my head.

Oh well... I guess there will be alot of cracked copies floating around then, huh? I would never buy something like what that reviewer described.
SHIT! Im still waiting for the next good FPS. Yeh, it was a long shot that Postal 2 would be it... but Im getting desperate these days. Devastation was a bust and DOD is like 5 years old... argghhh!

IGN just gave this game 5.5 I think it was. their biggest complaint was that if you wanted to be violent, you would be staring at the loading screen for most of the game. QUICK, someone get Rainwolf on the phone!
