A post from last week on Gameplanet (thanks the Junkyard) says that the latest New Zealand release schedule from Electronic Arts lists a new add-on called Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons scheduled to ship in September of this year. No further details are provided other than a listed $49.95 MSRP (presumably in N.Z. currency, which would be about $28.00 in the U.S.).

THEY PROMISED A LEVEL EDITOR. THAT IS WHY MOST OF US BOUGHT THE GAME. NOW THAT OUR MONEY IS GONE, THEY CHANGE UP ON US AND DO NOT RELEASE THE LEVEL EDITOR. THIS IS FRAUD. THIS IS ILLEGAL.
