reporting having confirmed that due to its large size, the upcoming PC release
of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
will be on DVD-ROM only, with no CD-ROM distribution planned at all.
Those who build there own PC's have no reason to put in a DVD drive.
Why on earth would you even say that? My DvD drive was the first component that I purchased when I built my new PC. I like watching DvDs on my PC, those of you with ATI cards (maybe just All-in-Wonders) will agree that the pc is one of the most perfect places to watch movies. My monitor will provide higher resolution than the Sony big screen in my living room.
Just because you didn't get the DvD drive doesn't mean that the rest of us didn't.
