reporting having confirmed that due to its large size, the upcoming PC release
of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
will be on DVD-ROM only, with no CD-ROM distribution planned at all.
Cripes...DVD drives cost, what, half the price of this game?
It's not like you need a new $200 pixel shading video card
or anything. It's a cheap-ass upgrade, so stop being so
cheap and upgrade.
I think the only problem facing DVD drives right now is
the bigger companies(Sony, etc...) want to switch to blue
light for more space. Wish to hell they'd hurry up with
that.
