HomeLan Fed is reporting having confirmed that due to its large size, the upcoming PC release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance will be on DVD-ROM only, with no CD-ROM distribution planned at all.

DVD Drives are only standard if you don't build the PC yourself. What reason do I have to have a DVD drive? Seriously. I don't watch movies on my PC. So what would be the point? I won't be buying this game...

I'm wating until the DVD burners get their collective acts together, decide on one freaking format and the price starts to drop.

I'm sick and tired of being an early adopter.

I'm also cranky.

The closest I came to buying one is that Sony that reads just about every format out there right now.
