speculating that Valve plans on releasing Half-Life 2 by the end of this year.
Supporting their theory that the game of the year sequel is more imminent than
the lack of updates on its progress would indicate are hints they've
uncovered in an NVIDIA conference call, quotes from an ATI press release, and a
comment from Valve's own Robin Walker.
I still have a few screenies from several previews... the graphics weren't exactly good even then, but they seem to have shut their mouth and revamped most of the graphics.
Heck, I still remember one of the ads punch line which depicted a female assassin with a huge hunting knife saying: the quickest way to a man's heart is through his sternum... lol cracked me up then and still does now...don't know why though.
