Down Goes Gold is the press release announcing that the latest Delta Force
game has gone gold, and is expected in stores on March 25. Here's a bit from the
release on the game: "Set in Somalia in 1993, Delta Force - Black Hawk Down
is based upon and around the Operation Restore Hope and Task Force Ranger
campaigns and follows members of the elite Delta Force, US Army Rangers and 10th
Mountain Division as they participate in a number of daring raids against the
oppressive Somali warlords in and around Mogadishu."

...but the (last) demo killed any chance of my purchasing this title. As rough and flawed as it was, I did enjoy the initial, multi-player demo due to the layout and the vehicles. However, the single-player demo felt broken in any number of ways (lack of realism, poor AI, cheap gameplay, etc.) and I realized that this would be nowhere near the game that it could - and that I hoped it could - have been.

I STILL think they need to put "And lose." as the last sentence of the marketing blurb.

You can't compare a film and a game. A game can be a lousy tie in with a film, or a film can be a lousy tie in with a game but one is no reflection or comparason with the other.
Anyway, this isn't anything to do with the film. Honest.

films better;)
Will there be a demo? No, I mean a fourth (I think). The others where fun - good immersive (if unrealistic) single player, typically great sniping in multiplayer. These guys love demos but the latest was verion 0.07 or something so it would suggest it wasn't the latest code.
