Iraq is not the aggressor...the only country that even remotely "fears" Iraq and their patchwork Military would be Iran, and considering that they are infinitely better equipped to deal with hostilities, I don't think they really care about Saddam as much as they did when we were helping him beat them back in the 80's.

I have two relatives in the service, one is my cousin who is a Marine Medic with the 5th marine battalion. They just so happen to be in Kuwait right now, and as a veteran of the first Gulf war, I know what he is going through. Not to mention I have two friends in the Air Force, one who just joined, and the other is a Staff Sergeant. Though I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who "know people" in the service, I highly doubt there are many veterans on this board.
