Shadowbane Gold

Shadowbane Goes Gold is the press release announcing that Wolfpack Studios' MMOG is gold for both the PC and the Macintosh. The press release outlines the game's story, a feature list, system requirements for both target platforms, pre-order information, and word the game will be available at retail on March 25. Update: Ubi Soft has released a short trailer showing off what gameplay in Shadowbane looks like, the file can be downloaded from 3D Gamers, Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying.

Yeah, I'm a beta tester too. Don't just listen to the nay-sayers, they're always there.
First and foremost, it feels more like a hybrid between a MMORPG (NOT EQ) and Diablo 2. The interface, combat, and movement is similar to Dungeon Siege. The character building is similar to Diablo 2. Leveling is fast, grouping is easy, and you can finally kill the people that annoy you. OTOH, when you die your inventory can be looted, there are bugs that need to be worked out in Win98SE, and siege warfare will need some tweaking.
