Gigex is now offering streaming downloads of a new PlanetSide trailer, showing off gameplay from the upcoming MMO FPS game in the works at Sony Online Entertainment. The movie runs for about 30 seconds, in QuickTime format. On a related note, there's a Kevin McCann Q&A on the official PlanetSide Website (thanks HomeLan Fed) talking with the game's creative director about the empires selected for inclusion in the game.

Planetside is the encarnation of Tribes/ Tribes II and the video was at best cheesy. How sad. Not to mention the poor quality the video editor chose to encode 640x480 using the Quicktime codec (someone needs to go back to school). what a dumbass. "he he he!" :D... a virtuoso flipbook rate of movement.

I think I'll continue playing Tribes II for free
