But Captain Scarlet... we thought you were dead! I have rambled a couple of times in the past about my childhood affection for Captain Scarlet, the Gerry Anderson supermarionation series focusing on the exploits of an indestructible agent of a global defense outfit. In fact in addition to a couple of Out of the Blue comments on this, back in 1999 when the now-cancelled (story) Thunderbirds game was announced (story), my comment was this (and I quote): "Now where's the Captain Scarlet game?" Now the fact that Farrah Fawcett never actually visited me during my teen years is proof that all things do not come to he who waits, but in this case the wait for this game has borne results. The untimely fate suffered by the Thunderbirds project highlights how the announcement of a Captain Scarlet game doesn't guarantee this will see the light of day, but here's one set of fingers that will stay crossed to try and ensure that it does.
