I don't see it as poor leadership on Bush's part. North Korea is playing dirty poker to bring itself up in the world. Shame on them though, their people are starving and they're making nukes a greater issue. It's simple, stop making nuclear facilities and we'll help you out.

Nope. They stopped making nukes for a long time. Trade embargoes had as much to do with the starvation as anything else and then they were branded as an "evil" state. You recall, I am sure, that Bush called Iraq, Iran and N. Korea an axis of evil. He then tries to invade Iraq. Wouldn't you be feeling a little uneasy under those circumstances.

The international community had 30 odd years to bring them in from the cold, and now it's all cropping up again. I'm no fan of North Korea, but get your facts straight.
