The Engine is capable of much more than U2 offered. In fact, as I said before, I though the maps in UT2003 were way better....kick ass in fact. U2 felt rushed from graphics to story.
Just so we're clear, I actually just went out and repurchased DX1, and I am stoked to be playing it through again. It has more plot and story in the first damn section than U2 does in its entirety. This makes up for the fact that the graphics are lame by today's standards. A little story goes a long way in a single player game.
You don't have to agree with me, and I do have high standards. At $50 a pop for these games, I have every right to be critical.

He cut the possum's face off then cut around the eye socket. In the center of the belt buckle, where the possum's eye would be, he has placed a small piece of wood from his old '52 Ford's home made railroad tie bumper. Damn, he misses that truck.
