Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) Announces Finalists for 2003 Interactive Achievement Awards is the press release announcing the finalists for this year's AIAS awards. SEGA's Yu Suzuki will receive the Hall of Fame award, and Battlefield 1942 is the sole PC nominee in the overall game of the year category. The full list of nominees can be found on this web site, and here are the PC game of the year nominees:

Innovation in PC Gaming: Grand Theft Auto III?

They do know that GTA3 was a console game before it went PC right?

Actually, screw that thought. Not nominating Mafia says it all. I'll stick to Gamespot's yearenders thank you. It's truly a pity that such an authoritative-sounding body has succumbed to this controversy.
