Out of the Blue

Happy Groundhog Day! In spite of that article yesterday suggesting the annual emergence from his hole is actually based on the need to breed, rather than to act as some feral Al Roker, I think I continue to consider him a harbinger of the coming change of seasons. Unfortunately it's so sunny around here today that not only did he see his shadow, but I doubt we could pressure him to change his story. Six more weeks until spring is not great news, as this has been one freaky-cold winter in these parts, and the sooner we can bid it a fond fondue, the better.

i never understood how a 7 could take place of a v.

Ne7er? Don't fight it... resistance is futile. It's the way o7 the future.

The Daily Photo Project is pretty artsy-fartsy. Kind of like an Andy Worhol picture.

I remember something like this being done in the movie Se7en - and it was much less artsy-fartsy.

Of course I could be wrong... but really, what are the chances of that happening twice?

Many of the auctions are hoaxes. One immediately came up after the news broke and turned out to be a German selling a garden hose as a piece of the shuttle.

Also the "Auction of the Day" is now an invalid item.

Ebay is taking down all the auctions of any Columbia material. Been doing so when people started posting it. It's a good policy of them to do. Vultures and assholes shouldn't be able to make money, not to mention that is still Government property. So, kinda pointless to link to any auctions, as they won't be up long enough for anyone to see.
