Out of the Blue

Well that was certainly throwback to the old days of the Super Bowl... a fairly non-competitive one-sided affair. Some of the commercials were okay at least... I really can't wait for that The Hulk movie. Meanwhile, apparently some Oakland fans did the only thing less classy than winning the game and rioting after a victory, by going out and rioting after losing, which really seams to epitomize the lack of perspective some have about sports. Anyway, hats off to Tampa Bay and their fans on a job well done.

Oh, and note to ABC... lip-synching does not qualify as live entertainment... can we sue over them promising half-time would be live and then playing a Shania Twain recording? Live or not, maybe we could just sue them over that anyway?

Well, ABC could argue that Shania's not-that-supportive rhinestone top was the entertainment portion of the show.
