UPDATE:

When the game developers have ALREADY created a "Hot Fix" (not just decide to work on one) within 3 days of their original patch, you can bet there was one heck of a Firestorm going on.

Luckily BluesNews was on top of this story withing that short period of time

The "Controversy" stems from AC2 being release with many bugs, and more recently, Dev notes stating that Crafting (a primary part of the game since there are NO NPC merchants) being boosted. And it became a "firestorm" when they released a January patch that does not fix the bugs, adds more bugs (including one that won't let people login...which must be done to request assistence) as will as a Decrease in the Skill that was said to be boosted.

...with over 44,000 views to this SINGLE thread in their Offical Message boards, I'd say it's a Firestorm of unhappy players... not mearly a "group" of whiners.

Apparently Blue defines "firestorm of controversy" differently than we do.

I don't see why, either. I mean, if he defines a group of gamers whining on a forum as a "firestorm of controversy", I'd hate to know what he thinks about his own forums!

I read through the thread and can't see it. Perhaps I'm just not familiar with AC.
