You and everybody's mother know that the reason why the pricks at Legend aren't releasing a multiplayer (even a co-op) is that they want to Maximize Profits...
I can imagine whats going throu their minds:
you want some multiplayer buddy boy, go BUY Unreal 2003... uh, getting bored of mp, want some single player, little guy, go BUY Unreal 2.
WTF, these corporate hacks might be starting a trend... Games used to include both a solid sp and mp. Now if Unreal 2 does decently, other studios might start doing the same.
If the guys at Id are capable of creating a state of the art new engine, creating whats assumed to be an awesome sp player experience and also include a mp aspect, there is no reason why these bastards at Legend can't create a minor MP aspect to a single player game with a game engine that was handed to them on a friggin platter.
