On PC Halo

There's some Halo: Combat Evolved for PC news on GameSpot with a status report on the PC version of the Xbox shooter. The article recounts the history of this project as a PC/Mac project that was assimilated into an Xbox project upcoming Microsoft's acquisition of Bungie, how Gearbox happened to become involved in the PC port, some of the technical hurdles they have vied with, what parts of the "about 40% done" project they have completed, plans to add next-gen graphics card and internet support, and more.

yeah... first start off by adding or replacing a few components in your computer... i would start off by replacing stuff like video cards, ram, or whatever is in a slot. reading manuals help a lot also in hooking up devices. and about the compatibility issue that nin is talking about... the best way imo to go about doing this is reading threads on tech forums, like over at www.anandtech.com and www.tomshardware.com.
