On PC Halo

There's some Halo: Combat Evolved for PC news on GameSpot with a status report on the PC version of the Xbox shooter. The article recounts the history of this project as a PC/Mac project that was assimilated into an Xbox project upcoming Microsoft's acquisition of Bungie, how Gearbox happened to become involved in the PC port, some of the technical hurdles they have vied with, what parts of the "about 40% done" project they have completed, plans to add next-gen graphics card and internet support, and more.

a 9700 should run d3 just fine, no game company is stupid enough to release a game that will only work on brand spankin new 3d cards that come out in conjunction with the game, if they did that they would lose all their customers, i would never buy a new 3d card just to play on specific game, I have a gf4, but its for all my games, not for just one. yea i know what you mean about pc only, there are a few that are on their way out to look forward to. ww2rts looks very promising. i believe the url is www.ww2rts.com but i could bne wrong, made by a developer in russia i think it is. another is that game that looks like sudden strike on steroids, better graphics, 3d vehicles etc...anyways im done my rant
