Right, my last post is at the bottom of the page. I've been away for the weekend with the object of my desire

Um. Larry person. Grow up. Don't make sweeping generalisations about what my being a Christian means. You know nothing about me, and seemingly nothing about my faith and set of beliefs. If you want to have a sensible discussion about the problems of child molestation in the Catholic church and the issue of child pornography, then bring it on. Just don't accuse me of it and don't make light of a serious issue by using it as an insult against me.

To whoever it was got confused over my point about porn becoming more extreme... I didn't mean that was happening to Playboy. I meant that Playboy is by and large the last bastion of "erotica" as against "pornography". The discussion at the time was about pornography in general, and I was just making a comment on the fact that pornography *is* getting more extreme.
As for the whole question of whether women actually enjoy pornography... it's a tough call, and I think there's a certain amount of delusion involved. Like I said, if the money's good enough then people will do nigh on anything in this world. However, I do find it very improbable that women would actually enjoy porn or would go out of their way to make a career out of it. That seems bizarre. But... it takes all sorts, so maybe you have a point.
However, the fact does remain that pornography objectifies women which is societally unhealthy. It also completely detaches sex from love, which is a dumb thing. It encourages promiscuity which is bad on a moral basis and (if you don't buy the moral argument) a physical one too.
Anyway. Your turn.
