Out of the Blue

We have a bit of snow in these parts this morning, apparently there are a bunch of places in the U.S. in this state, adding further complications to what is traditionally one of the heaviest travel days of the year. Luckily we're staying put here in the tower, as Thanksgiving is the family gathering for which we annually play host. Anyway, the snow is nothing that impressive, in spite of the seemingly endless winter storm proceeding them, but then, they never seem to live up to that sort of hysteria. Hmmm... now where did I leave that shovel?...

Anyone know how to unlock any different levels? the first two are pretty cool, but I can't speak Finnish (at least I think that's what it is) and can't unlock any other levles as shown in the instructions.

Arrghhh. What a cool game.

There are more levels? I know the language IS finnish, but thats all i know about it I'm afraid.. I just cant stop playing, even with this one level..

And maybe a nice salad.

What kind of dressing? Blue Cheese? Yum!

I'm 12 hours into my annual pre-Thanksgiving fast.

Gotta make room for plenty of stuffing followed by a hot cup of joe and an entire pumpkin pie

edit - add 'q' and dessert!

The Miskovic family in the town of Danilovgrad was preparing the local specialty of grilled pork fat

Maybe they can't think straight because nobody's brain is getting any blood due to the clogged arteries. I guess it could be worse, maybe there's a town over there that specializes in deep-fat-fried pork fat.

Now I'm hungry. Perhaps I'll have some deep-fat-fried beer battered pork fat hushpuppies - covered in sausage gravy, of course. And maybe a nice salad.

This game is a lot like Elastomania, any of you tried that, or Action supercross, the original.. www.elastomania.com beware, that too is extremely addictive..

anyway its very strange that this is in play time today since i discovered a link from a Norwegian newspaper just yesterday..

So, with so many nice reviews of the 9500 Pro, I'm tempted to get one. I wonder if ATI will have the $50 trade-in for this card as well.

($220 retail) - ($20 rebate) - ($50 ATI vidcard trade in) = $150

I have no sympathy for this family. They live in a war torn country so they should know better then handle a bomb. No matter how old it is, its still live. The fact that they lived can only be because the explosives have eroded over that period of time.

The bike game is pretty damn amazing indeed. Its based on Trials riding which is not very popular in the US. In Europe they run these things indoors with a setup very simular to the one in the game. The art is not to put your feet down or lean aganst something this incurs a time addition. You have to move your riders weight around, using the left and right arrow keys, to keep from flipping over backwards. The brakes and the gas must be used equally to balance the bike. Its tough, but fun. Well done by whoever did the flash. Would be nice if they translated the graphics to english ;-)

It seems to encourage flipping the bike backwards. I'm old and have forgotten all the skateboard/x-games terminology

10:30 AM and I'm the first post?

That motorcycle game is pretty sweet. Of course, I'm getting nowhere. I wonder if it would help if I could read any of the comments sprinkled about?
