Downloads Page now offers the version 1.7 patch for the
massively multiplayer game of World War II combat. This
post to the WWII Online Forums by producer Chris "Mo" Sherland
features details on what's new and different in the new version, which includes
hardware T&L support as well as gameplay tweaks, additions, and fixes.
Well, Blair as it has been stated before, CRS is coming out of Bankruptcy early next year. The company is finally turning a profit and gaining new players daily DESPITE what you are doing.
Strategy First is NOT pulling the plug on WWIIOL and they are not recalling copies. I work for MicroCenter and I can tell you we got 4 copies to replace the ones we sold last week. Since I work in retail I can tell you for a fact that periodically publishers will recall and REPLACE boxed copies of games in stores, it happens all the time. Doesn't mean the game is getting recalled.
Hell, we sent back 4 copies of EQ: Planes of Power this week. I guess EQ is being recalled sound the alarms!
So, go on Blair have fun...we still WON!
