Downloads Page now offers the version 1.7 patch for the
massively multiplayer game of World War II combat. This
post to the WWII Online Forums by producer Chris "Mo" Sherland
features details on what's new and different in the new version, which includes
hardware T&L support as well as gameplay tweaks, additions, and fixes.

Sure, SOME may think of WWIIOL as an investment, but I do not. I enjoy it NOW, as does the 75+ members of my old squad and the 100+ members of my new one. We play, many of us EVERY night, and we have fun. I love the game, and I would pay 15 bucks a month for it in its current state, and it is even better because I KNOW it is going to improve more and more as the days go by.
The game is fun as hell for me, and many others besides. As I have said some may like, some may not. This is true for ANY game. But the game has steadily improved and it is loads of fun now.
