This Firaxis Games Files Page is already offering downloads of a new version 1.04f patch for the brand-new Play the World expansion for Civilization III (thanks Civilization Fanatics' Center) The patch is just under 7 MB and adds autopatching and a pillage function along with several fixes addressing things such as multiplayer stability, a memory leak with advisor screens, a bug in play-by-email mode, and more.

I've always found the best multiplayer mode is hot seat anyways. I'm going to give internet play a run once some of my friends have time to pick up the exp pack.
