on Gamer's Hell are a pair of recently released trailers of Microsoft's upcoming
MMORPG sequel in the works at Turbine (which is an anagram for Tribune) showing
off gameplay. A 20 MB trailer and a 10 MB trailer are both available for
download. Bring your own popcorn.

Maybe they've realised that public betas are pointless, and/or only useful for advance marketing?

For some reason they are also shutting down the beta on Nov 1st... so they can have a whole month to prepare for launch. You whould think they had learned from other MMO's and whould keep testing right up until the day of.
I can't even get to the char creation screen, stupid AC 2 beta doesn't even detect my network connection..

Hmm...it took a good minute or so for the download-launcher screen to come up, but then I was able to download the file at my cable modem's cap.

as for the damn movies.. I couldn't d/l.. anyone else manage to get any of this action?
as for AC2 beta, the damn thing keeps crashing on the char creation screen... the previous releases were less buggy b/c atleast I could play then! lol
