DOOM III Q&A

There's a DOOM III Q&A on Gaming Invasion talking with Tim Willits, the lead designer on id Software's upcoming DOOM III (unless I miss my guess, this was conducted waaay back at QuakeCon). They discuss his inspirations in pursuing a career in game design, working with John Carmack, how DOOM III is coming along, challenges the game has presented, the most impressive feature of their new engine, multiplayer support, mod support, supporting lower-end hardware, weapons, per-poly collision detection, and more.

I don't know what drugs EB are on but I want some:)

Walked in there yesterday hoping we might have UT2K3 now, and no, they don't:( Why does it take them so long to get it here in Australia? Activision did SOF2 the same week, and most of their other titles. Anyway, I digress...

What made the trip worthwhile...

The coming soon section with mock-up boxes:

1: DOOM 3
2: Unreal 2
3: Duke Nukem Forever

The part which cracked me up is, that's quite possibly the order those 3 will be releasd in:) LMAO!

Damn, I hope Valve get off their clacker and do HL2 with this new DooM engine.
