The interface on this game is just amazingly good, and about 1 billion times better than the old one.

It's intuitive and fast and easy to use. Instead of having to get in just the right molecular position for some actions to come up, you get in the general vicinity and press the spacebar (or whatever you have action bound to) and then you can scroll the action list with your scroll wheel on the mouse whilst holding space and then release when you have the command you want.

You can choose weapons by right-clicking and then scrolling through, or just use the numbers 1-7. Works great!

I only got to play the first three missions at a friends, but they were very well done. Surprising large, there were a lot of ways to do things. Plus, the goal of Silent Assassin rank (get in, kill the target, get out, all without anyone knowing you were even there) is quite fun to try and attain.

Come next paycheck, I'll be shelling out the money for a new video card solely so I can play Hitman2.

I've been running the game with all settings maxed @ 1024x768x32bit with 2xAA and the game runs very smooth on my AXP1800+ with GF4 TI4200 (not overclocked, as yet for this game anyway).

I already played the first level a thousand times over from the demo and already knew the 'silent assassin' way of doing it and got a bonus straight away.

Onto level 2, the first new level for me and it's already a much bigger level than the first and I haven't yet sussed out yet for a perfect rating although it's easily completed any other way u try.

I find the missions are MUCH easier when simply brute forcing your way through. Which is strange, because being stealthy is supposed to make things easier.

There are also quite a few AI glitches. I've had it where gaurds, having no alert level, will suddenly attack me. At this point I'm holding no weapons, I'm in a good disguise, and I'm not in a restricted area.

Overall, a good game, but definitly in need of some polish.

heh, stumbled upon it in a moment of curiosity.
Hitman 2 runs fine at 1024x768 on my p3 550 and a geforce 2. or at least it does so far I like the way it can be played in different styles, and it pretty accurately (so far) describes just how i played the mission too. Definitely replayable in my book.. just.. gotta... put down... neverwinter nights... first...

No matter how you dress up a tall, bald, white man, he's still a tall, bald, white man. You can put him in a coctail dress, but that doesn't make him a waitress. Wouldn't you be suspicious too if a fellow ninja walked by who just happened to be a foot and a half taller than you?

man i LOVE THIS GAME ! its a rare combination of sheer stealth and absolute brutality . iam in afghanastan now (5th level) and have seen a couple of clipping bugs (doors close right thru enemies) and one questionable AI moment ( shot a guard pretty near another guard..but he didnt notice ..maybe silencer just worked really well ? plus the one mentioned...if you stop at all they consider you suspicious sometimes ..or make EYE contact) aside from those this is the most fun ive had in a game in ages - cant wait to finish it so i can redo the missions w/ different tactics ( nicest looking hookers in any game so far !) i just assasinated some warlord in a UN motorcade and HOLY SH1T DID IT HIT THE FAN as soon as the bullet exited his cranium ! (no "stealth" trying to run for the exit there) overall a really nice job ! WELL DONE !
