I've been playing this game since it came out--multiplayer is awesome and extremely flexible. As a mission maker you can do just about any kind of scenario you can envision. Conquest-type scenarios are much more dynamic and fun on Opflash when compared to BF1942, and the size of the maps are huge.

Insofar as the save games go, it's exremely easy to get around that by simply alt-tabbing out and renaming the old save game and then saving again. Of course if you're playing it by running around trying to bunny-hop to your next objective, you'll be reloading saves a lot.

lol? are you guys serious?? resistance is a great expansion. the community looks at it the same way, it just has a lot of bugs. get a faster computer if its slow for you! the graphics are much better now so its just normal that its slower too. maybe you should just dont put your graphic details that high and viewing distance not over 1200. but even with my crappy TB 1400 its very fast at 1600x1200 with almost all details on maximum.

I have given up on waiting for BIS to come back to their senses and do a real ArmA 2 successor.

You are just wrong. It had an ambitious scope, and it was a decent attempt... but that's it. It was just decent. Decent and ugly.

Is this the patch that makes the game....wait a minute wrong website.

OFP was one of the best games made, and Resistance was shit. Too many people had problems with frame rates.

Dont play OFP like quake and you wont get killed as much.

The only time I really get killed is when I do stupid things like bum rushing an area that I have no intel on.

Please expect a Flurry of Blows, some biting, kicking, and other forms of thrashing. The duration of the beating is, at this time, undetermined.

Just keep your head down and you won't need extra save games.

with Opflash Point, you can hit shift and the minus key, then type in "savegame".
just do *not* fail the mission or else you are Fubar, failiure means that the mission will auto Reset to the *start* of the mission.

it should have had limited saves, just like sof does.

best game i've played since thief /ss2.

you shouldnt be playing that game anyway if you have very limited playing time. better play some BF1942 or UT03 then. OFP is much to complicated and massive to play it just for a few mins.

I personally love the new changes and bug fixes! cant wait. tho I hoped for 1 or 2 new military vehicles and working smoke generators on the tanks.

You can always just 'alt+tab' out, delete the save file, then return to the game and save. That's how many sated the need.

You know selling dlc before you patch the client doesn't impress upon me the need to support your shit. -massdev

...and still no fix for ingame saving as often and as much as you want. Huh. Still "no sale" then.

I guess this game continues to want to get shredded like it did by PC Gamer last month. Who wants to keep playing the save mission over and over and over and over? Not me. I have very limited gaming time.

What do I do when I'm forced to replay a mission over and over and over? I uninstall.
