The Y-Project Official Homepage (thanks Gamer's Hell) has word that Westka Interactive has closed its doors for good. Efforts had been underway to save the company and their planned Unreal-engine FPS The Y-Project from this fate since it was announced that they were filing for insolvency this July (story). Unfortunately, according to the update: "Despite several measures to restructure the company, an additional agreement with another publisher and a very positive feedback from the international press on the versions of the "The Y-Project" and "Race Tracks Unlimited" shown at (the) Games Convention and the ECTS, the sustainable funding of the company couldn't be ensured."
