agreed ray. same deal with me. went under the handle of "darkstar" for years and then grew up and decided how loser it is to have such a silly handle. snide is actually just a truncation of my last name, snider, so all in all i keep it real. haha. as for the tony thing, didnt the imposter tony show up during the anon poster fiasco?

Anyway, to grab this topic and throw it off a proverbial cliff :D, I used to have all sorts of 1337 |-|@><0r names, but then whole idea seemed really silly to me in a sense. After you play with enough people that are named "DEATH DESTROYER KILLING MACHINE BLOOD GOD NUMBER ONE FABULOUSLY AMAZING ARCHANGEL!!!!!111111111," I grew a bit tired of it.

If I want to have a little fun, I will pull out my old 'nick "Lagged_Newbie" when playing games online.

I always liked key binds over voice chat, as it is Tribes 2 is the only game that I've had any good experience with VON. I think the voice menu works out great for SOF2, along with other games that use it.

Does anyone know if they are going to put voice chat in game like CS has??? Before game came out they were talking about doing so, but have not heard about it being put in game.

I've been going by my real name for about 10 years. Always have used the Exlamtion points too. Any Tony who uses the Exlamations besides me is an Imposter. I don't get why somebody would choose to imatate my name anyways. Maybe jealousy? By the way. Hows it hanging Tony?

The solution then is to use your last name like Ray Marden does.

Anyway to clarify a bit, I wasn't really directing that statement at you but at the various people who have chosen as their user name Tony!!, Tony!!!!, and so on. This person/people seem to have it in for Tony!!!

I have to say, the difference between Tony and Tony!!! isn't a problem - they both seem to post good stuff... but trying to work out whether Tony!! and Tony!!!! are the same as Tony!!! gives me a headache some days

agreed tyrlan. ive been playing sof2 nonstop since it came out. it's got the best team based multiplayer for my buck and is the first FPS since quake 2 that ive consistantly played online. im sure it's not for everyone, but i dig it.

Everytime I read one of Poo Ass's post I'm stupider for it.;P

It's because Raven is releaseing the patch's and *cough* caring about stopping cheaters in game, which there arn't many in SOF2. Quake3 PR from what I have read about it dosn't seem to be doing much to the game.

For those that don't like SOF2, well that's nice that you don't like it... but I find that it's one of the better multi player team games out there. INF is a great gameplay mode, and like most teamplay games, of this type, it takes a curtain ammount of skill and practice to get anywhere near good. I just wish the idiots that sometimes visit this site would remember that they arn't the end all when it comes to liking and not liking a game.

...the quake 3 PR come out before this patch? I mean Quake 3 gave birth to the possibility of these games that are being patched up... and now the SOF2 is imminent, and still NO NEWS about the Quake 3 Point Release. Bravo.

Quake 3 has cheaters and even longer-lingering problems.
