Hmm...our systems are pretty similar with the slight overclocking I do and running the 4600. Want to humor me for a second or two? Try the demo with mouse smoothing disabled (set all the way to the left) and see if that helps out at all. For whatever reason, I have
never been able to fully adjust to the way 'Lith handles input and that is one of the things that make it feel/play/control smoother for myself.
I seem to be a lot more sensitive to it than others, so it may not have any affect, but still give it a try... Also, are you using the 40.41s and using some type of software to make sure your framerate is
not being limited to 60Hz?
Edit: Another quirky thing I noticed with the earlier 'Lith games was how differently (better) they responded with an optical mouse. Yeah, optical mice are more precise, but the difference was only
that big when I was playing a 'Lith game. Again, more of my weird input sensitivity.
Thinking (feeling?) NOLF 2 runs significantly smoother than the original,
