Happy Friday the 13th! I've received a couple of odd reports about an intrusive pop-up showing up for some German readers that generate from some .de domain, I'll look into that, but there is certainly something odd about how they seem to be localized, which would suggest they might not be coming from the normal ad server, but the last time I thought that I was wrong, so who knows? Meanwhile, I'm in a different sort of pop-up hell of my own, as for some reason the Norton Antivirus on my system has taken to popping up a red and white virus alert dialog boxes with an "OK" button every time it receives an email virus, even though it's been configured to deal with them "silently" (which it used to, making this all the more curious). Since this only happens about 100 times a day, this interruption gets a bit tedious. I don't think there's an easy answer to this, as my question on the Symantec tech support forum got skipped over clean, with all the questions preceding and following mine having been answered already. And to think it used to be years, rather than minutes, between virus attacks.
