Out of the Blue [Sep 10, 2002, 06:50 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the attacks on the Pentagon and the
World Trade Center. So much has changed in the ensuing time it is quite
staggering to consider... I'm not really sure how this would apply to those
living outside the U.S., but it's really hard to imagine any amount of time
doing anything to diminish the impact of 9/11 here. Anyway, nothing I'm going to
say here can do the gravity of all this justice or put it into any sort of
perspective, so having said this now, I'm pretty sure I'll just forego an Out of
the Blue ramble for tomorrow. Here's to the sincere hope that the ever-rising
global tensions that have surrounded this event start to ease soon so we can
avoid further tragedies.

I don't see how you people can tell Blue what to do. Like you're opinion on the matter is somehow of higher value. And did some arrogant foreigner forget Blue lives where this attack happened? Just because more Russians died in WW2 doesn't make this event any more relevant. In fact, that isn't fucking relevant at all. It's history, this didn't occur a year ago, completely unexpectedly. And like Russia was the only country to lose people? And what about those who have died from AIDS or drunk drivers. Pardon me, but how unsensitive can you be.
