Blizzard's Next Announcement [Sep 09, 2002, 8:55 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Blizzard Entertainment sends word that their next product announcement will take
place Friday, September 20 during this year's Tokyo Game Show. There are no
further details about the planned announcement other that it will involve
back-to-back press conferences, but this should provide fuel for some
interesting speculation, since the TGS is primarily focused on console games,
though Blizzard has shown off PC offerings at the show in the past.
As far as Im concerned, all Blizzard RTS are the best RTS there are out there. Westwood has a lot of catching up to do. I dont know about generals but basically im guessing itll play just like Red Alert with souped up graphics, which means itll be shit and everything will come down to the tank rush, just like in every other C&C RTS. So far Ive read no previews that seem to claim otherwise. If Blizzard decides to do an expansion so soon for WC3 itll probably make a good game truly perfect. Just like Brood War did for Starcraft. If u dont believe me just ask a Korean.
