Blizzard's Next Announcement [Sep 09, 2002, 8:55 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Blizzard Entertainment sends word that their next product announcement will take
place Friday, September 20 during this year's Tokyo Game Show. There are no
further details about the planned announcement other that it will involve
back-to-back press conferences, but this should provide fuel for some
interesting speculation, since the TGS is primarily focused on console games,
though Blizzard has shown off PC offerings at the show in the past.
They're announcing their announcements, now? (I wonder if the announcement will suffer delays and be pushed back... perhaps someone will leak a beta version of the announcement, then all the gaming sites will preview it, then we'll get the demo announcement, and eventually the 'release' version of the announcement will come out (followed by a patch to fix up grammatical errors and spelling mistakes...))
It's not as if the news wouldn't have spread anyhow after the actual announcement... It seems kinda poor form to waste space on news sites with pointless meta-information like this.
