From the point of view as a webmaster, I'm continually amazed by people getting censorship confused with a webmaster's right to do what he feels is necessary for what he wants to accomplish; that being, run one of the best sources for computer/gaming news.
The fact that Anon posting rights were taken away here, in no way impedes your rights as a US citizen to perform your "Freedom Of Speech" rights. It's be ridiculous to say otherwise, especially with the amount of lewd and unbelievable marketing tactics, otherwise known as spam that drifts into my email on a daily box. This should certainly be proof enough that people can write whatever trash they want and try to make you hear/read it. (This goes for the majority of terrestrial radio out there too... but I digress...)
Those who are indignant about Anon posting rights being taken away should feel honored that this forum is even available for you. Running a site like this is no small task, and this is one of those headaches which, personally I can attest to, can cause a severe loss of appetite for the human race, and webmastering, at times.
Granted, the above statement is aimed at a probable miniscule percentage of the viewers here, but in most places online I find people just have no appreciation for the fact that running a website is like inviting people into your house to see your baby. It takes a lot of guts to let all those anonymous people in, and even more kahonas to allow them to speak their mind.
Personally, I applaud Blue for taking control where he deemed fit.
Take it as you may.
And thanks again to Mr. Blue for allowing a place for people to rant and rave and chat and get to know all about the latest happenings. Rock on.
Best-
