>This is stupid. We paid for that engine and it's >development. How is that any different than paying >employees to develop it for you? It was a 3D Realms engine >and it was only used in 3D Realms games or games we >licensed the engine to. So how was it not ours?
Did I say that the engine wasn't yours? I don't remember saying that. Did I say the engine isn't yours because that *kid* developed it? He developed it for you, I'M AWARE OF THAT. He developed it, NOT your company. I'm not disputing whether or not it's your property. We all know it's your property.
My point is, if you aren't able to finish Duke Nukem Forever in the next CENTURY, maybe you'd better hire some 15 year old kid to help you *again*.
Because, obviously, you are behind the power curve buddy. You'd better start implementing some EXTREME PROGRAMMING techniques and fast. In the time it has taken you to this point, you could have developed 10 engines, and you didn't even have to do that, you already licensed the engine, which means, *again*, you didn't do the work that was important in this project. Yet still, it's taken you much, much too long to complete your project.
I can't even believe I'm wasting my time responding to you. Anyway, what *exactly* are you doing posting comments here, shouldn't you be, I don't know, uh, WORKING ON THE GAME?
If you're going to post a comment, for god's sake, post a comment that makes a little sense.
