OK, I hereby acknowledge that RTCW isn't the only game that has these problems, I was in a shitty mood and felt like an argument. For the statements I made towards this, I am sorry. To the Blues regulars, I sank down to troll levels and regret it.
That being said, I believe that my frustrations lie with not the players of RTCW, but the limited types of online gaming it provides. In my opinion, if there were standard DM, where teams were not a factor, this stated problem would mostly alleviate itself. By forcing people to work in teams, the game creates frustration among the, lets say, less than mature players. This in turn, creates a backlash after so many hours of having to put up with n00bs and other general distractions.
In a perfect world, everyone would be on the same note, all players working fully towards a common objective. This unfortunatly happens infrequently at best playing RTCW online, in my opinion. If RTCW were to offer a standard DM mode, with ammo pickups and even perhaps health and armor, I think the team gaming community as a whole would benefit drastically. Those that don't want to have to follow orders (or give them) would have ~their~ servers, while the team-based fans would be left alone to their own devices.
So, to sum it up, all games have their respective contingent of assholes and morons, but all parties would benefit greatly by creating a pure DM mode in RTCW.
I also regret taking so long to get back to this thread, I fear that this response will go largely unread, and StinkyFiddlewinks will from hereon out be labeled a troll. I am not.
