Civ III: Play The World Screenshots

The first images of Civilization III: Play the World are online at Adrenaline Vault, showing off this upcoming expansion to Firaxis' turn-based strategy game. There are four screenshots and a few concept images, along with a reminder of the pack's features.

Civ 2 multiplayer was only good if you had a nice long book to go along with it. Or for Lans... because you could do things like set time limits/yell at people.

Yes except for the fact that a lot of people decided/discovered they hated Civilization II multiplayer. It really didn't hit anyone how long/boring waiting on human players would/could be until you bought the game and waited...and waited...and waited... and then inevitably someone would bail (sometimes the server operator) and you had been playing all that time for nothing. Granted, some people loved this but for the others perhaps turnless would work...

I read somewhere in some interview or whatever that they were gonna do it kinda like Fallout Tactics: BOS.......that would seem to indicate that certain actions cost "action points".....and that these points slowly regenerate as time goes on...

How exactly is turnless multiplayer going to work? The whole point of the game is that it's turn-based. Let's hope it works really well.
