In a wonderful surprise, MrsBlue arrived home last night with a case (literally) of Girl Scout cookies. Since she shares my tastes in these things, naturally they were mostly of the Thin Mints variety, also known as food of the gods. What I can't figure out is whether the Girl Scouts are using a new distribution scheme, or if there's something unusual going on here, because I always remember G.S. cookies as something you ordered in advance and then received at some later time, but she was able to complete her purchase in the one transaction. You don't suppose it's possible we got stuck with counterfeit cookies do you? I'd hate to think the funds for these were not going to the proper cause, after all if we don't support the scouts by buying the cookies, well, there's be no one to sell us the cookies (I guess this pitch needs a little work).
