I got nailed by Officer Trooper yesterday for excessive use of the right foot. If you've ever been told being in the flow of traffic was no defense against a speeding ticket, believe it, as I was third in a group of four cars, and he got the last two of us, rather than the cars we were pacing. That's pretty frustrating, but I guess had there not been cars in front of me there's the possibility I'd have been going even faster when he got me... at least that's how I'm trying to cheer myself up about this in that 'always look on the bright side of life' sort of way.

I was in a ride along with the highway patrol. The officer saw a minivan run a red light. The van was pulled over. It turns out the people driving, were my grandparents on their way home from a long trip. Funny thing is, they were pulled over more than an hour from their home. Needless to say, they received a warning instead of a ticket, and I received a great story to tell at the next holiday gathering.
