Actually I remember seeing screens of a GBC FPS. It had some weirdo name like Dinosaur Harry or somesuch. It looked slighly lower tech than Wolfenstein 3-D on the PC. I assume it either proved unfeasible (though that's a relative term given the fact that Dragon's Lair was ported to the system) or took too long and was buried in the wake of the GBA.
Hmm, you know, I think the -GBC- could handle Wolf3D... Why are they bothering with putting it on the GBA? Doom was cool on the GBA, but Wolf3D just doesn't quite cut it. No, I wouldn't pay $50 for Wolf3D on the GBA either.
1) I wonder if they'll add a multiplayer component. It would be interesting to see how something like that would work in old army Wolf3D
2) Are there any source ports out there with Multiplayer?
3) I assume this means no Spear of Destiny levels (milk the sequel)
4) Let's hope Nintendo's next handheld can handle Quake. If it was reverse compatible with GBA/GBC you could play all of id's franchises on one handheld.
